This is the most efficient way I've found. Horses require a few different foods (grain and hay) to be the happiest. The mixing issue is a real pain, honestly. I then drive it up to the drop off point for the horse barn (I did it in the medium size one) and basically drop off all my loose hay that way.
For horses, I round bale at 180 size and then ground everything up in a mixer. I have a ranch where I'm completely self sufficient in feeding my animals.
